Spot Extractors

Spot Extractors are local exhaust ventilation systems designed to capture small volumes of light fumes or gases directly at the source during laboratory experiments. Commonly used at workbenches, these extractors provide targeted fume removal without the need for a full enclosure, making them suitable for low-intensity applications.

Available in both ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted configurations, spot extractors feature flexible articulated arms that allow precise positioning over the emission point. The system is equipped with a capture hood and airflow control damper, enabling efficient fume collection when connected to a suitable centrifugal blower and ducting system.
